Dr. Hymas is a wonderful eye doctor. While I still visit my childhood ophthalmologist in Texas at least once a year due to my long history as her patient, Dr. Hymas was recommended to me by a coworker as a local eye physician. I have several eye problems including lattice degeneration. Dr. Hymas has an excellent demeanor with his patients, is very informative, and is never condescending. Recently I had an emergency and called for an appointment at the office. Despite having no open appointments and my emergency arising at ~3pm, he and his staff fit me in. I profusely thanked him for squeezing me in, and he was very matter-of-fact that I did the right thing by calling and that an ER doctor would not have had all the equipment to address a retinal emergency. He was so nice about it and I was (and am) SO grateful that he thoroughly and patiently took care of my eyes. Other coworkers who use his practice also tell me they have had excellent experiences with him. And best of all, you get to watch Disney movies while your eyes dilate instead of staring into space in the waiting room! :) Thank you, thank you, Dr. Hymas!
